This Stair Chair features two 4.5” rear wheels that make easier transportation on most surfaces. Front and back handles provide easier handling, the back 2 handles are used to support the chair while moving the patient, the back handles are non-locking and used for upward lift. The front two handles on the evacuation stair chair, telescope out to 14 ¼”, and lock into place to provide the best possible leverage when lifting the patient. It is recommended to always use the Heavy Duty 2-Wheel Evacuation Stair Chair with two people for added safety.

Three plus years with proper care. Turning off the chair completely when not in use or in storage will help preserve the battery. When storing for extended periods of time, periodically check it and turn it on, treat it like a car battery.
You may charge the battery while secured to the chair or removed from the chair. Also, it is recommended to charge the battery in the power off position. For further instructions, please see our YouTube video. Search LINE2design and locate the instructional how to battery video.
Each stair chair comes fully assembled and ready to go. All you need to do is unfold the chair once it is out of the box. The motorized chairs require charging the battery with the included battery charger prior to use.
The differences between red battery chair and yellow battery chair are listed in the
details section highlighted in red. The main difference is the load limit on the red battery chairs is 440lbs and the yellow battery chair is 400 lbs. The red battery chair has larger 10-inch rear wheels and 5-inch front wheels to provide better transportation over
rougher surfaces. In addition, the tubular frame is slightly thicker providing more
